About the Event
Craig Brooks re-enacts as a Saxon - and occasional Viking! Years of research into early medieval food from archaeological finds and ancient texts led him to write 'Eat Like a Viking' recipe books. He will be demonstrating a wide variety of dishes, seasonal and foraged, made over an open fire to give an inspiring glimpse into the day to day lives of our ancestors. Local celebrity chef, Lesley Waters, will be demonstrating her favourite Tudor recipes at 11am and 1pm.
Plant stall selling locally grown organic herbs from 10 -4pm.
Free Admission, donations welcomed.
