About the Event

The nuns were deeply connected to their plants and their gardens were an essential part of their everyday life. They grew their own herbs for healing, for food, for sacred ceremony, and all sorts of other purposes. Join me for a herb walk in the Abbey gardens and a sensory tasting session to introduce you to some herbs. Focusing on the rhythm of monastic garden life, let’s find out about the plants the nuns grew. How did they used them for healing and strengthening body, mind, spirit? How can you use herbs for everyday health today?

Half day workshop 10am – 1pm
